I've been thinking about the best ideas to preserve the environment and all of them lead me to the same point: we must consume only what we need, reusing what's left. As we can not remove many of the things we currently use in this plastic’s world, we can give them another destination when we haven’t to use them. Our ancestors made good use of all things without wasting anything. It was the era of glass and cardboard, items of great value that were recycled again and again. I remember the big cans of sardines which then turned into plant pots until they were decomposed by moisture and mingled with the earth. An easy and creative way to reuse plastic items can be: use the bottom of plastic bottles to make curtains, outdoor floor mats, lamps and crafts (for example toys) to make for and with children. I still remember when I was little, how I liked playing more with the toy’s packaging than with their own toys, because they didn’t work few months later. Carlos de Andrés
